I never met Andrew Wyeth. I wish I had. I’ve admired his work for 30 years and he has greatly influenced my life and paintings. “I identify with his conviction that emotion is the bottom line of art” is a line in Richard Meryman’s biography and it resonates with me. I want my work to imbue the sense of emotion that moves me and to evoke that response in viewers of my paintings, just like he did. 

From June 16 to July 5th, twenty of Jason's paintings are on exhibit at the Blowing Rock Frameworks & Gallery in Blowing Rock, NC. The exhibit represents the first solo show for Jason and a body of work that includes landscapes and people that live in the beautiful surrounding Blue Ridge mountains where he lives. 

Brian was born May 29, 1980 and lived more in his 33 years than most experience in a lifetime.
