New Works For Sale in Charleston

Mountain Vista - oil on linen, 16 x 24 inches

In April, Robert Lange Studios on Queen Street in Charleston (robertlangestudios.com) will host an exhibition "Braving the Elements" featuring the work of twelve painters each making four paintings with the subjects earth, air, fire, and water.  The artists have manipulated these four elements to compose unique interpretations in paint.  All are welcome to attend the April 4 (Friday) event from 5–8PM where the artists will be on hand to answer questions. The work will hang until April 25 and can be seen daily from 11-5PM.

The classic four elements are the building blocks on which our world was created and considering not just the four elements themselves but what they represent- dry, hot, wet, and cold or solid, liquid, gaseous, and plasma- the artists were challenged to conceive of distinctive works. Some artists tackled their four pieces with more traditional interpretations where others decided to create conceptual paintings.

Jason has been invited to enter 4 paintings for sale as a guest artist. The invitation offers an exciting opportunity for new exposure in the historic city which is visited by over 4.5 million people per year.

The other participating artists include Robert Lange, JB Boyd, Charles Williams, KC Collins, Erik Johnson, Sergio Lopez, Adam Hall, Brett Scheifflee, Nathan Durfee, Kerry Brooks, Joshua Flint and Megan Aline.
